Dear Tony,

I am sorry to say that I still have not seen any info for your GIUFFRE ancestors. I have a note from you from about a year ago - I thought Crosifisca sounded familiar Could you tell me your parents names and your ancestors linking to Crosifisca? I will certainly get back with you if I should ever run into another with the same ancestors.

I have added your name to our GIUFFRE family site so you should soon be getting a userid and password. I hope that you will enjoy looking at stuff and will want to join in and contribute to the site (add pictures, notes, just about anything you want). Anyone can add anything (including members) to this site. I also have a site that is not password protected but it is for viewing only (you cannot add anything here). It is located at:
http://homepages.msn.com/PicnicPl/donna_guiffre/

I'm still in the process of putting things together so - it is quite an unfinished piece of work.

Hoping to keep in touch.....

Donna Guiffre

Hi,
I saw your posting on COI. I too am researching this family (my tree has the other spelling...Giuffre, same family, bad handwriting in Sicily). My great-great-grandmother was Crocifisca GIUFFRE (PANEPINTO), born in Valledolmo (PA) Sicily in 1799. Her parents were Gandolfo GIUFFRE (date and town of birth unknown) and Giuseppa GIAMBRONE (b. 1769).
Let me know if you think there may be a connection.
