My
Weiss family originated in the small mining town of Goldlauter, in the
southwestern part of what used to be East Germany, south of Erfurt. There appear to be a number of family lines,
BUT they are probably all related, but I just haven’t found the key
to joining the families. Until I do,
they will remain listed as separate family lines. Currently I have 6 lines along with a few unattached WEISS’.
