Notes for JOHN and FERN (QUIGLEY) BEATTY:

  • Was known as Jack. 
  • Passed away after a three-day illness in the Goshen Co. Memorial Hospital.  The Obit says he had been in Torrington 53 years, which would have put him there in 1910. 
  • He married Fern in 1913, in Denver CO.  
  • He was a member of F&AM Torrington Lodge 29 (50 yrs).  He was also an Elks Lodge member.
  • Jack and Fern celebrated their 40th & 50th anniversaries at the “Undercroft” of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Torrington.  The 40th was celebrated on Wednesday evening (7-10), Feb 25 1953, and the 50th on Sunday afternoon, Feb 24, 1963.
