White Dove's Cry…

I want to write your name upon the sand.

I want to walk and hold your hand.

I want to watch the sunset by your side

And make love to you as White Doves cry.

There was a time I thought I'd never love again.

There you are standing before my eyes.

I feel as though time has passed me by.

I'm back to where I was before.

Holding on to what may never be once more.

Some people live their dreams, I seem to pass them by.

Where's the guarantee they won't make you cry.

I want to touch you once more. Ask you not to walk out the door.

I know you'll miss me for a short time. Though I too will walk that line.

The time spent with you may be worth the heartache I'll feel.

The tears you bring to my eyes will only burn a short while.

The memory of you face will slowly disappear.

And will come another dawn I'll be without you near.
