Tears…

Through the beautiful smile and the happy laugh,

Lies a sad tear waiting to fall.

Such a dark shadow to dissolution the pain inside,

Where's the truth in life for the pain that I hide.

The tears burn as they fall from my eyes.

As the puzzle shatters as it falls to the ground.

The stars quickly fade away at sunrise.

Again, the truth has never been found.

If I stay a little longer would it make tomorrow different from today?

Searching for answers that hide in the midst.

It's getting so dark. I will soon lose my way.

If I left tomorrow, would you still remember me?

Would you laugh at my jokes and remember how I used to be?

Things would never be the same and only you are set free.
