Summer Fun

We like to do things together as a family during the summer months.  We enjoy camping, swimming, boating, skiing, fishing, and just about anything outdoors.  We usually went camping for vacations when the girls were little.  But, we also had occasion to take a “bigger vacation” and have taken the girls to Disney World, Worlds of Fun, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. 

Now that the grandkids are getting a little older, there will be summer ball games, and other interests that occupy our time also.  But, it will be enjoying the outdoors, because it’s too cold in the winter to enjoy it.

Now that the girls are grown, they often go on their own vacations, but we are planning one big family vacation in 2008.  If I had the money, I would definitely take all of them back to Ireland, Scotland, Germany, England, or Hungry to see where their ancestors came from.  But, that is a dream that will not happen unless I win the lottery or something.
