Patrick and Margaret Murphy

Patrick is M.8.4 in the Murphy Book

On the right is Patrick sitting and Margaret (Maggie) Murphy standing behind him. And I believe but I am not sure is Patrick's cousins from his Aunt Bridget Murphy Kelly side, John and Helena Kelly in the middle. Sitting on the left I believe but not sure is Tom Walsh and behind is a woman who is unknown at this time. The above is one of the many Old Tin Type pictures of the family that we have. We are trying to identify more of these pictures.

Patrick and Margaret E Rogers Murphy on April 11, 1888 on their wedding day

Pat holding Rose, Maggie holding Margaret and Mary in th middle taken around 1893 Milltown, Polk County, Wisconsin.

The above is a postcard dated October 16, 1910 and it shows Pat and Maggie Murphy's home and farm located at the lower southend of Rice Lake just out of Milltown, Polk County, Wisconsin. The people from left to right are Mrs Charles (Louise) Rogers holding the baby, Mary Murphy McDermott holding Evelyn, Leonard Murphy, Sylvester Murphy, sitting down William Murphy SR, standing above maybe, Pat Carney, Ed Murphy. Pat Murphy, Not sure about the next two children or the women, then Maggie Murphy, Willie Murphy and wife and unknown women. We will try to get a better ID of the people in the picture. If you can help please let us know. Above is the front and right side of the house looking northeast. This picture was probably taken from the road that was in front of the house. Rice Creek would be at the back of the house.

Pat and Maggie's farm south of Milltown, Polk County, Wisconsin looking south. Notice that the barn in on the left, this would be looking at the left or northside of the house. On the right would be the front of the house or the westside and the road.

Pat and Maggie in front of their Milltown farm on the south end of Rice Lake just south of Milltown in their 1915 Krit Car. For years I have been trying to figure out the make of this car. When I first found this picture I notice what looked like swastika's on the hubcaps and sure enough is was. Before WW2 is was a good luck symbol for many people throughout the world and also the American Indians I have been told.
