was born c1781-1790 near Virginia and Tennessee State Line.
He died before 1860 in Indiana.
Information is NOT verified that Daniel Shadrack McNEW is the father of Zedekiah and Richard. See where it shows Jeremiah (1735) and Keziah as being his parents.

According to DL's diary, the twin brothers migrated about 1810 to Indiana Territory
and settled near Vincennes.
He was married to Nancy A. FAVERS (FAVORS) on 2 May 1807 in Ripley Co, Indiana.
Nancy A. FAVERS (FAVORS) was born c1789 in Virginia. She died after 1876 in Otter Creek Twp, Ripley Co, Indiana.
Zedekiah L. MCNEW (Twin) [Z] and Nancy A. FAVERS (FAVORS) had the following children:

+10 ii. Ann MCNEW [Z2].

The daughter married (First Name Unknown) WILLIAMS and migrated to the Upper
Mississippi River Country, Iowa or Wisconsin, and never returned.

In the 1860 Indiana Census, Otter Creek Twp, Ripley Co, Indiana, p. 114, Nancy
was listed as being a 71 year old widow born in Virginia. She lived two houses
away from her son John Brushcreek McNEW.
The following McNEWs were found in the 1820 Indiana census. This census was
difficult to read and only listed the Head of the Household:
