Five Civil War Letter from James⁸ Dunham, Jr. (James Sr.⁷, Ross⁶, Joseph⁵, Joseph⁴, David³ Dunham, Jonathan² Dunham (alias Singletary), Richard¹ Singletary) to his wife, Margaret Elizabeth (Slonaker) Dunham, who lived near Greenville, Darke Co., OH. James, Jr.⁸ died as a P.O.W. at Andersonville, GA. His father, James Sr.⁷ also served and returned home. His brother, Henry⁸, was killed and his body was returned to Darke Co., OH. His brother-in-law, Harmon/Herman A. Reinnecke/Reinecke/Reinnecker, hus/o Elmira⁸ Dunham, was killed.
