EXPERIENCE IN INDUSTRY AND BUSINESS

Design of roads and drainage systems for development sites from one to several hundred units. Complet'on of S38 and 104 agreement applications.

Identification, costing, design; including preparation of contract drawings and documentation, setting out and site supervision for a wide range of civil engineering works including: new carriageway and footpath constructions, bitmac and HRA patching and overlay, concrete road repairs, surface dressing, haunching, rekerbing, footway repair and reconstruction in various mate rials, slurry sealing, highway drainage design and maintenance, street lighting design and maintenance, traffic light installation and maintenance, supervision of section 38 and 104 adoptable sites, traffic calming, facilities for people with disabilities, works in conservation areas.

Resewering, maintenance of sewage treatment works and pumping stations, maintenance of canal lock gates, retaining walls, revetments, gabions, crib walls, brickwork, footbridge maintenance and replacement, car park maintenance including structural concrete repairs, landscaping.

Specifying, establishing and administering a computer database to issue orders for highway works and to produce financial reports.

Design of equipment for petrochemical and aeronautical engineering applications - corrosion monitoring equipment, wind tunnel models and components, directing R & D test programmes, management of computer-controlled systems, writing of reports and technical manuals.
Management of a fleet of commercial vehicles including: sale and replacement, issuing orders for maintenance and repairs, financial and contract management.

 

COMPUTING
