Obituary: James Donald (Don) Goudie:

GOUDIE, James Donald January 6, 1932 to May 28, 2005 Don passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital. He leaves behind his wife Darla, his daughters Pamela  (Dennice) Goudie, Brenda Froude (Lloyd), sister Ruby Tymchuk, brother Dennis Goudie (Roberta), brother-in-law Ralph Stephens, grandchildren, great grandchildren numerous  nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his father James Goudie, his mother Lily Haywood, sister Bonita Stephens  and brother Timothy Goudie. Don lived his life  on his terms and had a unique sense of humor and was known for his one liners". He loved  his German Shorthaired Pointers and treated  them like family. Don was happiest with the  camper loaded, Darla and his dogs by his  side on his way to the Chilcotin. 

He was a logger and truck driver all his life  and enjoyed his fishing and hunting to the max.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew  him. No Service. Donations to a charity of your choice. 92771 Published in the Victoria Times-Colonist on 5/31/2005.
