My parents came to Canada and settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba. There they raised five children. The family moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1980 and the children and grandchildren of Jozef and Jacoba continue to live in Calgary. Except for me of course. Jozef died in July of 1998. Jacoba continues her matriarchal role and will be celebrating her 70th birthday this July. |
