DANSBY CEMETERY
ELAMVILLE, BARBOUR COUNTY, ALABAMA
This cemetery was surveyed on the 15th of July 1998 by Frank and Zaroga Goff.  This cemetery is located in Elamville Alabama on Dansby Cemetery Road.  From Elam Baptist Church, go west until road deadends; then turn right; then almost immediately, turn left onto a dirt road. The cemetery is on the right in the yard of James "Shelby" Phillips.
The cemetery is about fifty feet by fifty feet in size.  The opening is located at the south corner.  Begininng there is the order of the following graves.

D. M. Dansby
Born 1836
Died 08 August 1914

The next grave has no readable writing, but is assumed to be the above Daniel Monroe Dansby's wife.
There is another grave at the foot of D. M. Dansby, but it had no writing.

There seem to be graves in the middle of this cemetery, for there are rocks scattered about that would indicate the head and foot of graves.  The cemetery is not kept up, so the grass and weeds are high.
