DANSBY CEMETERY
ELAMVILLE, BARBOUR COUNTY, ALABAMA
This cemetery was surveyed on the 15th of July 1998 by Frank
and Zaroga Goff. This cemetery is located in Elamville Alabama on
Dansby Cemetery Road. From Elam Baptist Church, go west until road
deadends; then turn right; then almost immediately, turn left onto a dirt
road. The cemetery is on the right in the yard of James "Shelby" Phillips.
The cemetery is about fifty feet by fifty feet in size.
The opening is located at the south corner. Begininng there is the
order of the following graves.

The next grave has no readable writing, but is assumed to be the above
Daniel Monroe Dansby's wife.
There is another grave at the foot of D. M. Dansby, but it had no writing.
There seem to be graves in the middle of this cemetery, for there are
rocks scattered about that would indicate the head and foot of graves.
The cemetery is not kept up, so the grass and weeds are high.
