Images of Jones Ancestors

On the back is penciled "Rebecca, Leona, Don, Dorothy".

If you turn the picture over, the names are exactly on the back of the faces, which puts Don up front, Rebecca on your left as you look at the picture, Dorothy on the right, and Leona at back.

Guessing that Don is 4 years of age, that would make the date of the picture about 1904.

On the back is a note written by Helen Fuller (daughter of Florence Jones) "I got this picture at Winfield, it has our pictures and Grandmother Stone, besides all the kids. It was taken at Rebecca's Wedding - GrandDad Jones and Florence - Helen".

Photo must be June, 1925.

GrandDad Jones is Jonathan Jones, who has his hands on Florence's shoulders--at far left of picture.

This picture is taken at a Cope Family Picnic, Linwood Park, Wichita, about 1932. In the center is the honoree, Adaline Cope (nee Riggs) on her 90th birthday. The people have been identified for the most part. The original picture is in a formal paper frame and is about 6X10. (full size picture click here)(2MB)
