Abraham Coryell

Coryell, Abraham/Abram # 6145 (Listed as A.D. Curyell) From family member Joyce: Abraham D. Coryell was born February 27, 1827 and died August 07, 1864. Abraham was a Private in Co. E Regt 82nd Indiana Volunteers and reported killed in action in Atlanta Ga, before August 07, 1864. This is from the widow's pension file. His pension papers state that he was shot in the temple and died instantly.

Tallman, A.W. # 8745 From family member Jon: Alexis W. Tallman was a sharpshooter in the 22nd Wisconsin Volunteer Inf. Regt. He was killed near Kennesaw Mtn. GA, a long way from home.

Schick, Emanuel # 9570 From family member Charlotte: Emanuel Schick was a private in the Civil War. He was born 26 October 1845, and died 7 August 1864.
 
 
 
 
Section "M"

McKibben, James L. # 4414 (Listed as J.L. McKiben) From family member Richard: James L. McKibben enlisted 23 October 1861, At Age 19 years in Ohio as a Pvt. in the Union Army. He served in Co. "C" 65th Ohio Infantry. He was wounded at "Stones River" at Murfreesboro, TN on January 01, 1863. He recovered and continued with his service, only to be struck down with dysentery and died on September 25, 1864. Per his service record he was first buried along the railroad tracks to Augusta GA, about one mile east of Atlanta, GA.
