The Conrad Family page is dedicated to the Loving Memory of my  2nd Great grand father John Henry Conrad &  his daughter Myrtle my great grandmother.
	My great grandmother was still living when I was little, but I do not remember her. From what I have learned about her she was a very strong willed woman and always working on something to make money. She did not live on a farm but raised baby chicks to sell to the farmers. She also sold Watkins products and she even had a small photography business with a dark room in her house.  I just aquired several of her post cards that she made several had family picture and views of Craig Nebraska in the early 1900's Her father, according to his obituary was  respected and well liked in the community. He served his country in the Civil War and ask that the flag be buried with him.  I have used the patriotic quilts in his memory.
