She died in Niagara Falls, Canada on 19 March 1990.
Joseph and Florence Glynn had four children all born in Niagara Falls. Bernard Joseph was the eldest. Bernard graduated from high school during the "depression" and had difficulty finding employment. With his parents permission he joined the RCN when he was 17 (1936?). He served in the North Atlantic on Destroyers and Corvets doing convoy patrol. On one occasion his ship put into Belfast. While there he met Catherine Paul (who was serving in the Royal Navy) and they were married in 1945. Catherine came to Canada as a "War Bride" in 1946.
