Hi, Jerry

Sorry about the mix-up on names, I got the information from the Bookout-D listing page.
I haven't done any research on the Moiser's, that I know of. But I do have a Moiser married to my g-mother's sister. (Albert Moiser) b. 1889 Grover Hill, Van Wert, Co. Ohio
Let me give you what I have from WFT file, about John Moon Bookout was born 8 May 1818 near Knoxville, Tenn.
With John being buried at Twin Hills, Cem. I would think that might be where his first wife is buried. There is 40 years between there deaths. I have never checked at the cemetery to see who is buried there. It is about 70 miles southwest of me. My Norton's are from  Randolph Co. IN. Which I didn't know till I started doing genealogy work about 8 years ago. I retired from the Air Force in 1993 in California after working for them for 37 years. I came back to Ohio, where I was born.
This is what I have on this family.  Rodger

          OBITUARY OF JOHN MOON BOOKOUT
John Bookout, the son of Joseph and Sarah Bookout, was born at
Knoxville, Tenn., May 8, 1818. Departed this life at 5 o'clock, Wednesday
evening, Jan. 30, 1901, at his home, surrounded by the members of his
family. Aged 82 years, 8 months, and 22 days.
He moved with his parents to Wayne county at the age of 10 years and
afterward to Randolph county, and lived with his parents until he was
married to Clarice Lindsay May 21, 1847. Their union was blessed with six
children, of whom five were boys and [one girl]. They lived a happy life
until she was stricken with fever and departed this [life in] 1861.
He afterward united in marriage to Miss Emily Mosier. To them were
born seven children of whom five were boys and two girls. They lived
happy together until his death. Early in life he became a member of the
M.E. [Methodist Episcopal] church at Thornburg's chapel, in Randolph
county, [Indiana] and was an active member until he migrated to Blackford
county in 1888. He then united with the Newlight[...]
It is almost impossible to realize that Father Bookout's long period
of life has closed and that he has gone to take his place with the
redeemed. The scenes attend [sic] Father Bookout's last moments, the
world will never know and has no right to know. The end was calm and
peaceful and Father Bookout retained his consciousness until his death.
As a christian his piety was not superficial, but deep and
experimental and exhibiting itself in a constant attendance on all the
means of grace, in the guilessness of his conversation, in love for God's
people with who he always sympathized, and to whom his hospitable door
was opened.
He loved the church of his choice, not in words only, but in deed
and in truth. His sun set at life's close, not like the sun that sinks
obscure by the darkened west, but like the sun that melts away into the
light of heaven.
The closing year of his life was a life of much affliction and
bodily suffering. He maintained a cheerful, hopeful disposition. With
kindness of heart he was ever plan-[missing the remainder]
