The husbands of Janet Allison were Andrew Tannahill, James Mitchell, Robert Howe, William Maitland, and Richard Harrison.   Janet had four children.   I am in touch with one descendant in Australia.

My ancestors, James Allison (1810-1878) and Margaret (1810-1883) had three surviving children before emigrating in 1842.   Four more children were born in Auckland, New Zealand.
