The Glamorgan Family History Society has many of its members subscribed to the Glamorgan Mailing List. Details of up and coming talks and meetings are shown on the List.

We are very fortunate in having list members who are actively engaged in other genealogical projects. Look out for regular List Members:

  • Gareth Hicks who runs the Genuki Wales website which is full of information
  • John Ball who contributes photographs of areas of Wales.
  • John Patrick Griffith who sends us Newspaper accounts.

How to Set Up Mailboxes.

Very often home computers are set up using a family name. You are able, if you wish to set up your own mailbox, or an additional mailbox, say for other members of the family, so that you receive your own emails. This is simple to set up.

Setting up email mailboxes is something that is controlled by the Internet Service Provider [ISP]. The exact steps to complete the process are different depending on the provider. Most hosts will allow an unlimited number of email addresses under an account. The host will also provide a tutorial or instruction on how to setup accounts, but most hosts should follow more or less the same process. Read more:
