1. Henry McKINNEY. Born abt 1800 in North Carolina. Henry died in Union Co., Arkansas, on 25 Oct 1866. He married Letticia McCRARY, daughter of Isaac McCRARY (1772-1817) & Mary KING (1772-1810). She was born in 1810 in Baldwin Co., GA. Letticia died in Union Co., Arkansas on 9 Aug 1883.

2. Mathew Kinchen McKINNEY. Born on 6 May 1844 in Talbot Co., Georgia. Mathew Kinchen died in Lapile, Union Co., Arkansas on 10 Oct 1878. Buried in Old Lapile Cem., Lapile, Union Co., Arkansas. He married Martha Ann McHENRY, daughter of John Viney McHENRY (1802-1880) & Keziah BROWN (1810-1869).  She was born on 26 Mar 1848 near Montevallo, Shelby Co., Alabama. Martha Ann died in El Dorado, Union Co., Arkansas on 16 Oct 1900.

3. John Viney McKINNEY. Born on 19 Aug 1874 in Lapile, Union Co., Arkansas. John Viney died in hospital, Memphis, Shelby Co.  Tennessee, on 9 Jun 1948.  Buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, El Dorado, Union Co., Arkansas. He married Adelle "Del" SCHULER, daughter of Jacob Felix SCHULER (1834-1903) & Louisa Dorsey LEE (1848-1926). She was born on 28 Mar 1882 in El Dorado, Union Co., Arkansas. Adelle "Del" died in El Dorado, Union Co., Arkansas on 28 May 1943.

Line may connect to Moses McKinney, Sr., b. 1740 Southampton Co., VA, d. 1800 Warren Co., GA and his wife Mary 'Polly' Harris, died Tuscaloosa, AL (daughter of Amos Harris & unknown wife, and  granddaughter of Edward Harris, Jr., of Isle of Wight Co., VA and his wife Mary Thorpe).  Moses McKinney, Sr. and his brother Matthew were the sons of Gilbert McKinney d. 1746 Southampton Co., VA, and Sarah Matthews d. 1805 Johnston Co., NC (daughter of Hugh Matthews and Martha Johnson).

Moses McKinney had 8 sons (Telman, Anselm, Mason, Harris, William, Kinchen, Moses, Jr. & Matthew) and a couple of daughters who lived  in Georgia and Alabama and who's descendants eventually spread out to other southern states and Texas.

I am positive that Henry McKinney b. ca 1800 NC/SC of Talbot Co., GA is my gggrandfather. I suspect that he is a son of one of the 8 sons of Moses and Mary Harris McKinney, but which son, I'm not sure.
