1. Wilson K. McKenny (McKinney), born ~ 1758 in VA, married Elizabeth Stevens on 27 March 1780 in Bedford County, VA, died in October, 1828 in Limestone County, AL.
Data starts with the marriage between Wilson McKenny and Elizabeth Stevens in Bedford County, VA. Wilson next appears with Elizabeth in SC on a land purchase in northern Greenville County. They seemed to have moved up into Buncombe County, NC in the 1790s and over to Madison County, AL by 1811, as indicated by the tax list. Elizabeth appears to have died and Wilson appears to have remarried a lady by the name of Sarah. Wilson purchased land in Limestone County and ran a mill on a small stream. He died in Limestone County in 1828.
2. Samuel McKinney, born on 4 January 1794 in NC, married Rachael Rogers on 27 August 1818 in Madison County, AL, died on 5 August, 1870 in Upshur County, TX. Their children were all born in Limestone County AL. Samuel moved his family to Harrison County TX in the late 1840s.
3. William Miller McKinney, born on 7 December 1832 in Limestone County, AL, married Sarah Jane Petty on 27 April 1862 in Upshur County, TX, died on 30 June 1898 in Upshur County, TX.
4. Elmus Lee McKinney, born on 13 May 1876 in Upshur County, TX, married Eula Alice McNair on 27 January, 1898 in Upshur County, TX, died on 19 January 1951 in Bexar County, TX.
5. Roy Earl McKinney, born 22 November 1900 in Pittsburg, Camp County, TX, married Beatrice Vivian Saylors on 13 August 1919 in Sherwood, Irion County, TX, died 4 May 1979 in Dallas County, TX.
