ST.-ANTOINE DE KENT - Mrs. Rebecca Girouard, 87, of Foyer St.-Antoine in St.-Antome de Kent, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 1995 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton, after a lengthy illness. Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Elzéar and Rosanne (Cormier) Bourgeois. A housewife, she attended St.Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church in St.-Antoine de Kent and was a member of the former organization Dame de Ste.-Anne. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Leonard Gallant (Jeanne), Mrs. Juliana Fougère both of Grande-Digue, Mrs. Albert Goguen (Cécile) of Cocagne and Mrs. Freddy Robichaud (Rose-Mai) of Concord, California, USA; four sons, Henri and Clarence both of St.-Antoine de Kent, Ulysse (Stella) of Ste.-Marie de Kent and Victor (Bonnie) of Hampton; three sisters, Mrs. Nelda Bourque of St.-Antoine de Kent, Mrs. Emeline Gruber of Brooklyn, N.Y., USA., and Mrs. Ben Damien (Stella) of Dudley, Mass., USA; four brothers, Alyre and Henri both of Moncton, Donat of Grande-Digue and Edmond of Breau Village; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmond Girouard (!983); one son, Arthur (1979) and one brother, André (1990). Resting at St. Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in St.-Antoine de Kent with visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at St.-Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church in St.-Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church in St-Antoine de Kent on Wednesday march 15, 1995 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
