It is with great sadness that we announce the passing
of Marie Rose on September 10, 1999 at Tache Centre. 
Predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1977, 
Marie is survived by her children, Rita (Bob Hayward), 
Maurice, Denis (Monica), Phillip (Line) and 
Roland (Marlene); 
12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She also leaves her sisters, Alma Lord and 
Gisele Guenette. 

Born in Letellier, Marie moved to St. Norbert where she 
married and raised her children. 
She spent her retirement years at Columbus Manor, 
Accueil Colombien and Tache Centre. Our mother was an 
inspiration to us all.
She was always there when we needed her. 
She was a loving and caring person. Mom was open minded 
and ahead of her time and will be missed by all. 
The family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the 
staff of 3DE at Tache Centre for their compassionate care. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 
September 14 at the St. Boniface Cathedral,
with Msgr. Albert Frechette presiding. 
A private family interment of cremated remains will take 
place at the St. Norbert Cemetery at a later date. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 
Tache Centre, 185 Despins Street, Winnipeg, MB, R2H 2B3.

MAURICE GIROUARD "BEDOVE" October 6, 1943 - September 15, 2003

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice "Bedove". He will be lovingly remembered by his son Daniel and Daniel's mother Doris.

He is survived by sister Rita Hayward (Bob); brothers, Denis (Monica), Phil (Gaylene) and Roland (Marlene); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Marie Girouard.

Maurice was born and raised in St. Norbert and lived there most of his life. "Bedove" had many friends at the St. Norbert Hotel, the Eagles Club and at the Peace Garden in Fort Garry where he kept regular office hours. He lived his life the way he wanted and will be missed by his family and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 19 at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maurice's memory, may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
