Bridget Girouard wed to Gordon Luke III
SUMMERVILLE, S.C. -- Bridget Eileen Girouard and Gordon Lindsay Luke III, both of Gladstone, Ore., were married at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at St. Pauls Church. The Rev. Michael Lumpkin officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Girouard of Fayetteville, N.C. The bridegrooms parents are Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lindsay Luke Jr. of Summerville.
The bride was escorted by her parents. The maid of honor was Dr. Victoria McFadden of Grafton, Mass. The bridesmaids were Jenifer Komes of Raleigh, N.C., Debra Poulos of Boone, N.C., and Laura Yarborough of Fayetteville. The child attendants were Erynn Komes, Sara Komes and Ethan Poulos.
The best man was Robert Thorn of Charleston. The ushers were Samuel Luke of Dallas, Brian King and Scott Stephens, both of Charleston, and Thomas Riley of Sherwood, Ariz.
The wedding musician was Richard Scott.
The brides parents were hosts for a reception at the Price House Cottage Bed and Breakfast.
The bride is a graduate of Terry Sanford High School, the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and the North Carolina State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a veterinarian at Eagle Fern Equine Hospital in Estacada, Ore.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the College of Charleston and the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a veterinarian at Lake Oswego Small Animal Hospital in Lake Oswego, Ore.
The couple will live in Gladstone.
