Annie Girling

  General Notes:

Annie sailed from London by sailing ship to New Zealand some time between 1884 and 1886 and lived at Ponsonby for some time. She then moved to Whangarei .She was a talented singer and a very good cook.
In the early 1900's she moved her family from Melbourne to Auckland to take care of her elderly mother.

• Tailoress. She was an acomplished Tailor.

Annie married John Burgell, son of James Burgell and Lydia Webb, on 12 Aug 1871 in Graves End Kent England. (John Burgell was born on 3 Apr 1842 in Yarmouth Norfolk England and died on 23 May 1916 in Williamstown Victoria Australia.)
