Watersider,of Auckland, one son, lived in Frankin road and Napier street in Ponsonby, Auckland.
These are adjoining streets, Franklin road is now famous for it's annual Christmas light show, most, if not all the houses on the street are lit up with elaborate lighting.
Alfred is on the 1890 Auckland city electoral roll, living at Franklin Rd, Seaman.
He is also there on the 1893 &94 electoral rolls along with his mother, Robert and Susan.
Also in 1893/4 is Alfred Walker, Seaman.
Most probably a double up.
Was Robert in NZ before his mother and siblings came?
