Ann was a warm hearted, genial woman and with a ready wit,she loved company,especially young people and was greatly loved and respected.
She emigrated from London England to New Zealand shortly after being widowed about 1880

Her home at Glasgow Tce Auckland was a happy meeting place for friends and family.

Ann married Joseph Benjamin Girling, son of Joseph Girling, on 10 May 1845 in St Olave Southwark London England. (Joseph Benjamin Girling was born in 1826 in Graves End Kent England and died on 5 Aug 1877 in Saint George In The East, Stepney, London, England.) The cause of his death was Tuberculosis of lung.
