Will of John Vestal, husband of Elizabeth Carter

10 day of July 1804
I being indespost in body but in my proper sensis I think it fit to bequeath my property to my family as follows after all my just debits air paid. I leave to my wife Elizabeth two cows and calf one side saidl one bed and furniture six pewter plats six tin cups six puter spoons too dishes one beson one shuger bole one duck over one littel pot one large cettle now I leave to my sun Samuel too hundred Ecors of land on the north end of the Place I now liv and a hers sadle and birdel to be valued at one hundred dollars and now I leave to my wif elizabeth one mair she being a gray and my wif being pregnant if it should bee a boy i bequeath to him two hundred acors of land i ncluding the place hwere on I now live and if it show be a garl to have an ecuel shear with the rest of the gails and the balance to be divided amunst all the garls. Eculy and now I leave to my wife two souse and pigs and a set of KNives and forks this being my last will and testament my wife tho have hir mentainece of the plase whilst she remains a widow.

This indenture made this Sixty day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and five between William Jay & James Moon Executors of the Lawt Will and Testament of John Vestal Deceased of the County of Warren and State of Ohio on the one part and John Stosut of the County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth That the said william Jay and James Moon by Virtue of an Order Issued from the Court of Common Pleas held within and for the County of Warren at their January Term Eighteen hundred and five did order that so much of the Land of John Vestel Deceased may be sold as will defray the debts and comply with the will of the Deceased for an in consideration of the Sum of two hundred and ninety Dollars to them in hand well and truly paid by the said John Stout before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt and payment of which the said William Jay and James Moon doth hereby acknoledge and thereof and therefrom doth acquit relase exonerate and forever discharge the said John Stout his heirs Executors and administrators by these presents and doth hereby Grant bargain Sell alien enfeass convey and confirm unto the said John stout his heirs and assigns forever a certain piece or parcel of Land containing one hundred and forty five acres being a part of a tract of Land conveyed to John Vestel by James Murray by a deed
