Descendants of Edward Gillen Circa 1840

A California Death Certificate for one of Edward's sons confirms that Edward must have been in South Bend, Indiana in 1869 and that his wife's maiden name was, indeed, Smith. It's believed that Edward was born in New York, his father having come from Ireland.
