He married Doris Pauline Baird September 19, 1937 in Mankato, KS. Doris was born November 10, 1917 in Jewell Co., KS. Doris was the daughter of Jay S. Baird and Leona Lydia Vader. Doris died May 16, 1983 in Seattle, King Co., Washington, at age 65.
