OBITUARY
Alexandria Bay - Ronald Hunter, 68, Alexandria Bay-Redwood Road, was pronounced dead at the Edward John Noble Hospital Friday afternoon after suffering a heart attack at the home of Rae C. Hotis, Redwood, where he had stopped to visit.
Mr. Hunter had been receiving treatment for a heart condition at the hospital and had been released Monday.
The funeral was Monday afternoon at the Giltz Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Thompson, pastor of the Redwood United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Redwood Cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nina Hotis Hunter; a brother, Ross Hunter, LaFargeville, R.D.; nieces and nephews.
Born in the Town of Alexandria, December 21, 1902, a son of Alvaro J. and Ida Blevins Hunter, he was graduated from Redwood High School and married Miss Nina Hotis of Plessis in July 1926. The couple operated a farm on the Alexandria Bay-Redwood Road near Brown s Corners. Mr. Hunter had helped train race horses for George (Bud) Hebert, Edgewood Resort.
