John Henry and son Frank came to Canada first , probably 1906, and the rest of the family came 3 years later.
1st trip to Canada he went with Rollie Keevil to sell horses for Rollie s dad.
John lived near his brother, William, in Saskatoon. He lost his eye while there.
All his children lived on a farm in Saskatoon, Canada.
His children: oldest to youngest:
Frank, Thomas, Marie, Rose Arthur
Hilda said that he finally left his children and wife in Canada and returned to Mountsorrel.
Wayne says: John Henry came with brother William and Frank from Lestershire and built stone church foundation. William went back and left Grandma with a family in Canada. John Henry went back to England. He came with a friend, Miller, with horses to sell but never went back with English money.
A quick note to say that I have made contact with a Terry Antill who lives
in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Terry appears to be a descendant of
Thomas Antill (1897 to ?), the son of John Heny Antill (born 29 Dec 1868, 42
Wellington Street, Loughborough) the son of Henry Wood Antill (1838 to 3 May
1926). WE know from family folklore that John Henry emigrated to Canada on
the early 1900s, but have no further details. I am in touch with Terry by
snail (air) mail only and will pass on any details of John Henry's line that

John says that Terry age 57 is the son of Thomas, youngest son of John Henry.. Terry s nephew is Wayne Antill age 40
