Hoosick Falls, NY - Funeral services for Elizabeth Kearney, 92, who died Thursday at the Hoosick Falls Health Center, will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Mahar Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
Burieal will be in St. Mary s Cemetery.
Mrs. Kearney was born in Hoosick Falls, daughter of Edward and Mary Barnett Fogerty.
She was a graduate of St. Mary s Academy in Hoosick Falls and the Albany Business college and worked as a secretary for the McKearin Insurance Company in Hoosick Falls.
In the 1920 s Mrs. Kearney was a news corresppondent for the Troy Record Newspapers in the Hoosick Falls area.
Survivors include a son, Robert Kearney of Springfield VT; a daughter, Eleanor Lovett of Colonie; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
