Individual:
notes say they had lots of children and lived in Milford, New Hampshire
Now, the 1901 Census shows the following info:
22 Copland Street, Dalbeattie, Scotland:
Charles Newbold (head)b. abt. 1862 England, occ: settmaker
Grace Newbold (wife) b. 1860 Minnigaff, Scotland
Jessie B. Newbold (dau) b. abt. 1886 England
Isabella F. Newbold (dau) b. abt. 1891 AMERICA
Charles H. Newbold (son) b. abt. 1893 AMERICA
Elizabeth G. Newbold (dau) b. abt. 1897 AMERICA
George J. Newbold (son) b. abt. 1900 Dalbeattie, Scotland
Charles Newbold was born in England. He was a granite sett maker. I am thinking he was probably from
Leicester.
Charles Newbold
m. 5/19/1890 Kingston, Ontario
Grace McCaull/McCall
(((note that Grace had a brother named John McCutcheon McCaull already living in Kingston, Ontario at the
time)))).
I think I found one of their children in the SSDI:
George John Newbold
b. 1/18/1901 Dalbeattie, Scotland
d. 1/1975 Santa Monica, California
His social security card was ISSUED in New Hampshire. So there is another clue.
In the SSDI there was also a Isabelle Newbold b. 8/13/1910 d. 11/1970 Santa Monica and a Martha Newbold
b. 1/25/1899 d. 7/1985 Santa Monica. One may be his wife?
