PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY DEED BOOK 4 (1774-1778) Page 145. Oct. 22, 1774 from Obediah Stover of Pittsylvania County, to Solomon Davis of Pittsylvania County, for 10 pounds, one certain tract of land in Pittsylvania on the head branches of Pigg River, and bounded by Jeremiah Hall, about 150 acres. Signed, Obediah (X his mark) Stover. Wit: James Stewart, Sr., James ( I his mark) Stewart Jr., Lexrous ( I his mark ) Hardin. Recorded May 25, 1775.
