To all persons to whom it may concerm, Know ye that I, John
Piper of Hopewell township, Bedford County, PA do make and
constitute this my last will and testament, revoking all
other wills hertofore made by me.
First, I leave 'Flag Meadow' Tract to my sons, William
and James to be equally divided agreeable to a line marked
for the purpose.
Secondly, the farm ____ supposed to contain three hundred
acres with the improvements to my wife, Elizabeth during her
natural life and at her decease to fall to my son John.
My ____ and _____ to be at the disposal of my wife.
Thirdly, a small tract supposed to contain eighty and
hundred acres including the G___ spring to my youngest son,
Thomas.
Fourthly, my Yellow ____ ____, supposed to contain one
hundred acres and the improvements known by the name of
M______ improvement to my sons Alexander M Piper and David Piper,
Fifthly, _____ my son William to pay my sons, Alexander
Moore and David Piper one hundred dollars as soon as Alexander
_____ arrives at the age of of 21 years.
Sixthly, I allow my wife to furnish my son Alexander Moore
with a good riding horse.
Seventhly, I order my daughter Elizabeth to get a horse,
saddle and bridle, two milch cows, a feather bed and furniture.
Eigthly, I order my son John to give my daughter Polly
five pounds.
Ninthly, I order my sister Amiga(?) ____ and ____ place
and her maintance during her life.
Tenthly, and lastly, I appoint my wife and son William
to be the Executors of my Last Will and Testament. In
testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
thirteenth day of November. Ammo Domini one thousand eight
hundred and two.

Bedford Co, PA personally appeared before me the Subscriber
Register for the probate of Wills and granting letters
of administration in and for said County, Mary Young
(formerly Nixon) who being duly sworn doth depose and
say, that she was personally present and ____ and ____.
John Piper, she testates signed, seal and declare the
foregoing instrument in writing as and for his last will
and testament that at the time and doing was sound in
memory and mind according to the best of the ______
knowledge and beleif, that said Thomas Flanagan and George
Nixon the other _____ witnesses subscribe their names as
witnesses and that the name Mary Nixon is the ____ ____
as the proper handwriting of this _________ and that the
said Thomas Flanagan and George Nixon are both deceased.
At the same time comes Joseph ______, Esq who being
duly sworn ____ depose and say that he has frequently
saw Thomas Flanagan write and to the best of his ____
knowledge and beleif, the name Thomas flanagan subscribed
as a witness the foregoing in writing is the handwriting
of the said Thomas Flanagan who is _____ sworn and
subscribed the 31st August, 1816
