My name is Gracie Stover, and I'm the listowner 
of the Bowles/Bowls/Boles/Boal/Boales lists, and I'd like to 
invite you to join us.  We have found that there are many spelling 
variations of the Bowles surname and the spellings listed above cover 
most of them.  Most of the activity is on the Bowles list and we welcome
all the spellings there, but people researching the other spellings are 
invited to join the one of their choice.
We're now engaged in a Counties Project, where we all 
send in the names of the counties, states and times where 
our ancestors lived, worked, were born, died, got married 
or sued---in other words, wherever they happened to be.  
Seeing how the counties line up and who had ancestors
there has resulted in exciting new matches.
