ALLEN REWARD IS INCREASED
Additional Sums Being Offered For Sidna Allen and Wesley Edwards Dead or Alive by State of Virginia.
Roanoke, Va., May 21. --Tonight, W. G. Baldwin, who has charge of the matter of running to earth the members of the Allen Clan, who are under indictment for the Hillsville courthouse murders, announced an increase of rewards in excess of those already offered by the state. The additional rewards are being offered for Sidna Allen and Wesley Edwards. The offer is made on the authority of the governor. The additional offers puts $1,500 on the head of Sidna Allen, dead or alive, and $1,000 is offered for information leading to his arrest or capture, dead or alive. Seven hundred and fifty dollars is placed on Wesley Edwards, dead or alive, and the person furnishing the information leading to his arrest will receive $500.
