ORANGE JURY WILL
TRY SIDNA ALLEN
Venire of Twenty-five Men Summoned
And Prisoner Will be Arraigned
At Wytheville Monday.
Fredericksburg, Va., Nov. 27. --An Orange jury will probably try Sidna Allen, the Carroll county clansman, when he is arraigned at Wytheville next Monday, to answer for killing Commonwealth's Attorney Foster, at Hillsville. A venire of twenty-five men was summoned in Orange today.
Allen was convicted last Friday, of murder in the second degree and given fifteen years in the penitentiary for the murder of Judge Massie, another victim of the Hillsville courthouse tragedy. When this verdict was announced, Judge Staples said that the next jury would be drawn from the eastern part of the state.
