MEXICAN VIEW OF ALLENS
Telegraph to Know If Virginia
Has a Revolution.
Washington, March 19, --“Please wire immediately whether it is true that a revolution has broken out in Virginia.”
This message from Mexico City to one of President Madero’s agents here has caused a ripple of amusement among Latin-American diplomatists.
It is believed that some one telegraphed news of the Allen outbreak in Virginia to Mexico, and that the spirit of revolutionists promptly stamped it as an uprising of the Mexican brand.
