Mrs. Susan Daniel
Mrs. Susan Daniel, 78, prominent Fayetteville woman and well known throughout the county died at her home in Fayetteville Thursday night, December 26*, after an extended illness. Mrs. Daniel had been seriously ill for some weeks, and her death had been momentarily expected.
Funeral services were conducted at Fayetteville with burial in the Fayetteville cemetery.
Mrs. Daniel was the widow of James H. Daniel, who died in 1921, and had been a resident of Fayetteville for about 40 years. She is survived by the following children:
Mrs. Alice Grafton, Mrs. Joe E. Phillips, Miss Sue Daniel and one son, Hobart Daniel, all of Fayetteville; Mrs. Massie McMullen, Charleston; Mrs. G. P. Furnell, Marietta, Ohio; Mrs. Beck, Fairmont. Four sons had preceded her in death, Seth, Nemiah, George and Jimmy.
Mrs. Daniel was a most estimable woman and had a host of friends.
