Jesse W. Daniel, Dead
Died Early Last Thursday Morning After Less Than a Month's Illness With Typhoid. Conscious until the very last moment and fully resigned to his fate, Jesse Daniel, the young Fayetteville attorney, whose critical illness with typhoid fever was noted that week, died last Thursday morning, Sept. 21, at one o'clock.
Deceased was the only son of the late Sheriff N. Daniel. He was born in Boone county but removed with his parents to this county when quite young. He was 29 years old at the time of his death. Deceased was a graduate of the Morgantown University law school and also attended the University of Michigan and Washington and Lee. He was one of the best known young lawyers practicing before the Fayette bar.
The funeral was held Friday afternoon under the auspices of LaFayette Masonic lodge of which deceased was a member. Interment was in the new Fayetteville cemetery beside the remains of his father.

Son of the Late Sheriff, Nemiah Daniel Died Thursday Morning.
HAD BEEN ILL ABOUT ONE MONTH
Death Occurred at His Home in Fay- etteville at Five* O'clock, Was a Prominent Young Man.
Attorney Jesse Daniels, of Fayetteville, son of the late Sheriff Nemiah Daniel, died at his home at Fayetteville at one o'clock Thursday morning, September 21. Complications arose a few days before his death which showed to the physicians attending the young man that death was certain to result within a short time.
Mr. Daniel was taken ill with typhoid a few weeks ago. The fever seemed to be pretty well under control but organic trouble developed serious symptoms Sunday and he grew worse until death relieved him of his suffering.
He was a bright and promising young lawyer and had many friends who will learn of his death with regret. The funeral occurred this afternoon. Interment was made in the new Huse** cemetery.
