Mrs. Elsie Acord Will be Laid to Rest Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Acord, 36, wife of A. C. Acord, of Saxon, who died in a local hospital Monday evening, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Daniel, of Saxon. Cancer was given as the cause of her death.

Mrs. Acord leaves two young children, a son, Ivan, and a daughter, Fern. Besides her husband and parents, there are living six brothers and three sisters. They are Dr. D. C. Daniel, Mosquero, New Mexico, J. Tom Daniel, Dry Creek; Sidney, of Glen Daniels; Blain, of Paxville; and William and Fred Daniel, of Edwight. The sisters are Mrs. Frank Hurst and Mrs. Ash Daniel, of Saxon, and Mrs. Sidney Wilson, of Metallton.

Dr. G. P. Daniel, of Glen Daniels, is an uncle of Mrs. Acord.

The funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. John A. Cook, of Saxon. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
