The Computer
Genealogy Society of Long Island is dedicated to expanding and teaching the
correct use of the computer and the Internet as an indispensable tool in
genealogical research.
Service,
Resources, or Benefits Provided to Members
The Computer
Genealogy Society of Long Island holds informative monthly meetings on topics
of value to computer users or prospective users. Members exchange
information, tips and techniques on the use of computer programs and the
Internet sites of interest to genealogists. The Society provides a forum
to learn about and discuss current technologies for new and experienced users.

Meeting Schedule (Please confirm before attending since schedules do change.)
Meetings are
normally open to the public. There is no charge for guests or non-members.
Meetings are
normally held:
Last Thursday (4th
or 5th) of month, Sept. - June, at 7:30 P.M.
(Nov. and Dec.
meetings are usually rescheduled to avoid holiday conflicts.)
