Purpose of Group
The African
Atlantic Genealogical Society aims to provide instruction and support for
genealogical research with a focus on persons whose ancestors have had an
African or Atlantic crossing experience.
Service,
Resources, or Benefits Provided to Members
The society
provides workshops, lectures, indexes of vital records and censuses prepared by
volunteers, annual heritage tours, and cultural enrichment programs.

Open to the Public. There is no charge for guests or non-members.
