*. Though Oliver is not mentioned in this website He is mentioned in the book  "Passengers and Ships Prior to 1684"  (by  Walter Lee Sheppard Jr.) says that 23 ships brought passengers and their goods in the first year of Pennsylvania's founding.

**  Bremen Germany through Southampton, England

# The Ship Upton Arrived in Charleston during the September 14, 15 of 1752 Hurricane.  According to "Our Wicker Family" by Eleanor Clyburn Wicker) this hurricane was one of SC worst.  The ship was sent so far up the Wappoo Creek that it took several mouths to get it out.  It did not sail till Feb of 1753.  Of the 400 passengers none were lost.  But the fact that Mathias Wicker states he left with his wife and five children but entered Charleston Harbor with only three children.

## Believed that Balthaser was not on the original Ship manifest he was added later, So his wife and children were not added to this list.
