In November of 1988, Leslie Flory and Bill Flory published the first issue of the Flora Flory Fleury newsletter. Leslie was the inspiration for this publication, and Bill agreed to serve as the editor, a position he still holds today. From this modest beginning, the newsletter now has over 130 subscribers covering most of the 50 states, as well as several subscribers in foreign nations.

The newsletters contain updated family trees, family histories, stories & anecdotes, reunion information and progress reports on various Flory research projects.

At a subscription cost of only $5 a year, the newsletter is indeed a useful addition for any Flora Flory Fleury researcher. If are not a subscriber, you should contact Bill Flory and initiate a subscription.

Since many of us have only recently become active researchers in our family histories, much of the earlier information in the newsletters has been unavailable to us. Thus, I suggested to Bill the possibility of archiving the earlier issues and Bill agreed that that would be a useful thing to do.

We will be placing scanned copies of previous issues online. The copies will be a direct reproduction of the original publication with one major change. Since the newsletter will now be online, we felt it would be appropriate to delete the addresses of any contributors to the newsletter. However, if you wish to communicate with any of the contributors, drop either Bill or me a line, and if at all possible, we will put you in touch with that person.

The table below lists the individual issues that have been archived. Since this is not intended to replace the printed version of the newsletter, only volumes three years or older will be archived. If the issue number appear below, then that issue has been archived and can be reached by simply clicking on the number.
