Daniel and Mary are descendants of Joseph the immigrant through his grandson Joseph, son of Jacob Flora, and consequently, they were first cousins. Daniel was a minister and in later years, as he lost his eyesight, he became known as the blind preacher. His knowledge of the scriptures was encyclopedic and he could quote verse and passage from memory, as well as discussing the meaning of each passage.

This site is organized into "Web Cards" and "Person Sheets"

Each Web Card contains basic information about a person and their spouse, parents and offspring. By clicking on various individuals, you will be taken to their Web Card. In this way, you can scroll through a particular family lineage. The "Home Card" button (above) will take you to the first person in this lineage. If you click on either "parent" in the Web Card, you will be taken to their Person Sheet. The Person sheet contains the same information as the Web Card, but in greater detail, including dates and references. From the Person Sheet, you can return to the Web Card by clicking on the Web Family Card at the bottom.
