Both Abraham and Elizabeth were born in Franklin Co. They were third cousins, Abraham was the great grandson of Jacob Flora and Elizabeth was the great granddaughter of his sister, Eva Katherine Flora Naff. They raised a family of 10 children, all of whom survived to adulthood. Late in life, they migrated with several of their children first to Illinois, and then later to Nebraska.
